                                              Operations Director, St. Tammany Economic Development

 

Tracy Clanton joined the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation team in 2003. She manages the STEDF facility and its operations, serving as the point of contact for all human resources issues, budgeting and financial components, and legal concerns and contracts.

​

Prior to STEDF, Tracy was Administrative Assistant at the Greater Slidell Area Chamber of Commerce (now East St. Tammany Chamber), and, while in college, she was Operations Manager/Sales Lead/Associate at Service Merchandise.

​

Tracy serves as Treasurer for the Rotary Club of Slidell and sits on the board of Olde Towne Slidell Main Street. In the past, she has served as Treasurer for the Slidell Heritage Foundation, as a member of the Leadership Northshore Board of Trustees, and as a committee chair for the United Way-St. Tammany Glitz, Glamour & Giving Campaign. She has been a member of the Leadership Slidell/Northshore Alumni Association, the Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association, the Business Women’s Network of East St. Tammany, and the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Young Professionals.

Tracy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Management from the University of New Orleans and is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Northshore and a 2012 graduate of Rotary District 6840’s Leadership Academy. She completed the Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association’s (LIDEA) Economic Developer Courses and received LIDEA’s Louisiana Economic Developer Certification. Tracy also earned the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and the Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
